The 1940 Air Terminal Museum

We need you!

You can help the 1940 Air Terminal Museum by:

Becoming a Member of the 1940 Air Terminal Museum. If you are already a member, renew your membership, upgrade your membership, and consider giving memberships as gifts to friends and family.

Becoming a Volunteer. Volunteer opportunities include fundraising, historic research, cataloging and preserving artifacts, helping to promote the Museum at special events, training to become a docent or gift shop staffer, conducting video oral history interviews, participating in the educational outreach program and many other opportunities. Please call (713) 454-1940 for more information about volunteering to help the 1940 Air Terminal Museum.

Donating Money. If you or your company is interested in sponsoring a portion of the Museum or if you want to make a cash donation, every dollar helps the Museum fulfill its mission.

Donating Items. The museum is always looking for items to add to its collection, and to help fulfill its mission. Things with decades’ worth of dust sitting in your attic or garage may seem ready for a garage sale or the dumpster, but they may in fact be very important artifacts. See the 1940 Air Terminal Museum's Wish List.

Shopping in the Museum's Online Gift Shop. We have a variety of interesting and exciting aviation items for sale in our gift shop and we are adding new items all the time.

Spreading the Word. Tell your friends and colleagues about the Museum and send links to our website. If you have a website, please add a link to us.
